This can be seen in the example of the conceptually important normative legal documents adopted in the field in recent years, as well as administrative reforms aimed at preventing corruption. In particular, the Strategy of Actions on five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021, adopted at the initiative of the President, which is considered the main document of the reforms taking place in our country in the fight against corruption, as well as the new strategy for 2022-2026 The Development Strategy of Uzbekistan and the important goals defined in it, the "State Program for Combating Corruption" are of urgent importance.
Corruption is a dangerous factor that has a serious negative impact on the development of any state and society, and is a complex socio-political and economic phenomenon that threatens all countries.
First of all, raising the fight against corruption in our country to a completely new level in terms of quality and quantity is the product of the political will of our President. In particular, it is no exaggeration to say that the head of state's opinion about the need to "inoculate the society with a vaccine of honesty" is the cornerstone of the work in this regard.
In his Address to the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on January 24, 2020, the President said, "The evil of corruption in our society is hindering our development in its various forms. "If we do not prevent this evil scourge, it will be impossible to create a real business and investment environment, and in general, not a single branch of society will develop," he said.
In accordance with the Decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 6, 2021 No. 5177 "On additional measures to effectively organize anti-corruption activities", starting from October 1, 2021, all state bodies and organizations have established internal control units to combat corruption.
In order to ensure the implementation of this Decision, the service responsible for early identification and prevention of corruption cases, elimination of their causes and conditions, prevention of conflict of interests and formation of an uncompromising attitude towards corruption in "Ammofos Maksam" JSC. - Compliance service was established.
